Chery A. Bohannon

Cheryl has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years. A graduate from the University of San Francisco, McLaren School of Business, with a BS in International Business and a language minor in Japanese. She obtained her State Insurance License in September of 2000 before entering a corporate accounting career. She worked for Enterprise Car Sales as a Staff Accountant for two years, then worked for STA Travel as
an Accounting Supervisor before transitioning into the Investment Industry. She holds Federal Designations, 6, 63 & 65 and is registered with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). She has worked for various companies such as Golden State Mutual Life, Primerica, World Group Securities, Transamerica Advisors, Prudential and Pruco Securities. In 2013, she became certified with Covered CA to sell market place plans and with the America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), to assist Medicare eligible enrollees with plan selections. She is also a certified Tax Preparer, having obtained her CTEC, from the California Tax Education Council. She’s appointed with over 40 different Insurance companies for Medical and Life products, truly able to find the best fit for her client’s needs. She prides herself in helping families and businesses achieve their financial goals and dreams, while minimizing costs and tax liability.

My initial goal as a financial services professional was to help my father buy his boat and protect our assets. I’ve accomplished that. Now, I want to help other families and businesses in my community achieve their financial goals and dreams. I want to help others learn how money works so that they can make sound financial decisions for themselves.  I want to help more families retire with dignity, send their children to college and properly pass wealth from one generation to the next.  I want my life, my existence on this earth, to mean something, to have had a significant impact to millions of people before GOD calls me home.  I want to be the catalyst of greatness and professional integrity, setting a very high standard that others want to copy.
